Meet Sarah Lemmer, Catholic Counselor

Sarah received her M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Franciscan University of Steubenville and her B.A. in Spanish from Ball State University in Indiana. She is currently working towards her licensure as a professional clinical counselor (LPCC).

Sarah’s journey to becoming a therapist began during her work as a missionary in Central America. There, she had the opportunity to build relationships with people from diverse backgrounds and hear their stories firsthand. These experiences taught her the profound value of being present with others in their struggles and joys, inspiring her to pursue a career dedicated to helping people find healing, growth, and greater freedom in their lives.

Some of Sarah’s clinical interests include working in the areas of anxiety, depression, grief and loss, adjustment difficulties, OCD, relationship concerns, and trauma. Sarah’s desire is to walk alongside her clients as they navigate significant life stressors and help them find hope and healing by integrating their faith and values into sessions. Sarah focuses on the here-and-now, helping clients explore their emotions, understand their relationship patterns, and connect past experiences to current struggles. Through this collaborative, real-time approach, she guides clients to deepen their self-awareness and move toward greater freedom, connection, and authenticity.
