Meet Jonah Carlstrom, Catholic Counselor
Jonah Carlstrom, MA, completed his graduate and undergraduate studies at Franciscan University of Steubenville in Ohio, where he received both his B.S. degree in Mental Health and Human Services, and his M.A. degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
He has worked in various clinical settings, including private practice, campus health, and long-term inpatient treatment with various presenting concerns, including anxiety, depression, eating disorders, trauma, abuse, sexual addictions, pornography, relationships, grief, and faith and spirituality.
Jonah utilizes a whole-person, i.e., Mind, Body, Spirit, approach to counseling and relies strongly on building and leaning into the therapeutic alliance, which can be defined as a unique, cooperative, and dynamic working relationship between the client and the therapist.
